Moeness Amin, PhD, director of the Center for Advanced Communications (CAC) and professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, has been awarded the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) 2016 Achievement Medal. IET Achievement Medals are awarded to individuals who have made major and distinguished contributions in the various sectors of science, engineering and technology, covering energy, transport, manufacturing, information and communications, and the built environment. Villanova University has been ranked in the top 50 of the nation’s best colleges and universities by U.S. News & World Report in the 2017 “Best Colleges” rankings, released Sept. 13. Villanova earned a #50 ranking in the National Universities category, placing it in the top 16 percent of nationally ranked institutions on the list.
