Catholic Worship at Villanova University

altar with chalices and paten holding bread to be consecrated

That bread which you can see on the altar, sanctified by the word of God, is the body of Christ. ...  If you receive [it] well, you are yourselves what you receive.—St. Augustine, Sermon 227

Liturgical life on campus is at the heart of our Augustinian tradition and values of truth, unity and love. All students are welcome to join in our celebrations. We also invite students to share their talents through music, lectoring, altar serving and other ministries.
